Emberkite: Sky Ace Privacy policy
Emberkite: Sky Ace privacy policy
Emberkite: Sky Ace (“the app”) is an arcade plane shooter made by Emberkite (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles and why.
The short version
- There’s no account and no sign-in. We don’t run any server for Sky Ace, and we don’t receive your personal information.
- Your high score, coins, upgrades and settings stay on your device.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use your advertising ID. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first.
- We don’t use an analytics SDK and we don’t sell your data.
Information stored only on your device
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| High score, best stars and coins | So you can beat your best and spend coins in the Hangar. |
| Hangar upgrades you’ve unlocked | So they stay unlocked. |
| Settings: sound, music, vibration and reduced motion | To remember your choices. |
| Ad pacing counters (for example, games since the last ad and the time of the last ad) | To keep full-screen ads infrequent. |
This stays on your phone and isn’t sent to us. It may be included in your device’s standard Android backup, which you and Google control. Vibration uses your phone’s vibration motor and collects nothing.
Service providers and third parties
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) and Google’s User Messaging Platform provide ads and consent (see below). How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- Google Play services support ads and the advertising ID. Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Play distributes the app and its updates. Google Privacy Policy.
Sky Ace doesn’t use Firebase, sign-in or in-app purchases. If we add in-app purchases or other features that handle data in future, we’ll update this policy first.
Ads and the advertising ID
Sky Ace shows ads from Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK): an occasional full-screen ad at game over, and an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch to continue a run. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:
- device identifiers, such as your device’s advertising ID or app set ID
- your IP address and the approximate location worked out from it
- information about the ads you see and tap, and basic device, app, performance and diagnostic information
Google uses this to deliver, measure and protect ads and, only where you allow it, to personalise them. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and How Google uses cookies and identifiers in advertising.
Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland, and some US states): where the law requires it, Sky Ace uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to ask for your choice before any ads load. You can change it at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. If you don’t consent to personalised ads, you may still see non-personalised or limited ads.
Your advertising ID: you can reset or delete it, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android settings (usually Settings › Privacy › Ads or Settings › Google › Ads).
Ads aren’t aimed at children. Sky Ace tells Google that its users are not under the age of consent and that it isn’t directed to children, and it limits ad content to a PG rating. Full-screen ads only appear at game over, never during a mission, and they’re frequency-capped. Rewarded ads are always optional: you choose to watch one to continue a run.
How long information is kept
Information on your device stays until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Ad-related data is kept by Google under its own policies. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you.
Deleting your data
Sky Ace has no account, so there’s no online account to delete. To remove everything the app stores, clear its storage (Android Settings › Apps › Emberkite: Sky Ace › Storage › Clear storage) or uninstall it. To limit ad data, reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings, or change your choice in Settings › Ad privacy choices. If you have a question or a request about data, email support@emberkite.com.au.
Children
Sky Ace is intended for people aged 13 and over and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us at support@emberkite.com.au and we’ll delete it.
Security
Data sent between the app and our service providers is encrypted in transit (TLS). Online data is protected by server-side security rules so that only you can change your own data. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and keep what we collect to a minimum.
We don’t sell your data
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use an analytics SDK.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant, we’ll note it in the app’s store listing or in the app.
